Families placed huge, glittering decorations on the graves. We saw small fires burning alongside many of the tombs, carrying on an ancient tradition of burning (fake) paper money, food, or pictures of houses, cars, and other necessities or luxeries. The idea is that as the smoke rises to the sky, the deceased loved one will inherit the items being burned.
During our travel, we saw miles and miles of these Tomb Sweeping traditions, but all these pictures are from the net. I guess we're just getting lazy with our camera.
