I don't know if you can capture the emotion from these pictures, but it's so fun to strike up a little conversation with these people who are so absolutely fascinated with foreigners. Can you see the sparkle in their eyes when we give them a warm "hello" and a little s-l-o-w conversation in English? The process begins when you see them staring at you. Then you give a big smile and say, "Hello" and a sweet experience begins. (These photos are from this weekend's trip with other BYU China teachers.)
