ABANDONED BABIES

As mentioned before, a friend in our little church group here in Xi'an has two apartments full of abandoned babies with medical problems. The Chinese government does not provide any financial or medical assistance for these babies, so Amanda (pictured here with me) depends on donations to provide the care and surgeries for these babies. Amanda will see to it that all these babies will receive the surgeries they need. Tuesday, Dave and I took a suitcase full of baby items donated by some of our church members back in the states plus some cash donations. Amanda was so grateful. For three years Amanda has maintained about twenty babies at a time, but just recently received nine cleft palat babies all at once, with four more coming within the week. She provides warmth, care, love, medical help and a five-star hotel compared to the bleak orphanage these babies come from. Amanda's resources are being stretched, so any donations for her babies, sent to the following address, are much needed.
